Anyone who has ever used water taken from a well knows first-hand that sometimes it is not crystal clear.
If you are wondering about the quality of the water you consume, the best option is a laboratory test.
But even in field conditions it is possible to assess the quality of liquid from a well.
To do this, you will need a regular dishwashing detergent.
So, first, fill any suitable container with water from a well or borehole, and then add a small amount of the conditional “Fairy” here.
Now take a clean spoon and use it to shake the contents of the container.
If you notice that there is very little foam or none at all, this indicates that the water is too hard. This happens if the water contains excess salts and alkaline earth metals.
In the same case, if everything is OK with the foam, there is no need to worry; in terms of water hardness, everything is OK.
