As a rule, after the end of their useful life, things that have served us faithfully are sent to the trash bin.

However, there are some among them that should never be sent to the trash.

Light bulbs

Fluorescent light bulbs, which contain a large number of chemicals, including mercury, have no place in the trash. Environmental damage is guaranteed.

Batteries

If batteries are not disposed of properly, the mercury and toxic metals they contain will certainly harm the air and soil. Like light bulbs, they should be taken to special collection points.

Household chemicals

It's not just light bulbs and batteries that need to be taken to a recycling centre – chemicals found in cleaning products and aerosols can also be harmful to the environment, so they need to be taken special care of.

Medicines

If you thoughtlessly throw your medications in the trash, they may be ingested by unintelligent pets or stray animals. To avoid harming our smaller brothers, crush your medications and mix them with an unattractive mass, such as the contents of your cat's litter box.
