When else but in the spring to do a general cleaning of the house? As a rule, it starts with washing the windows, and then everything goes according to plan.
Owners of stretch ceilings will have to think about how to tidy up this part of the interior. It is more difficult if the surface is glossy - here is how to tidy it up.
How to wash glossy stretch ceilings.
If you clean up haphazardly, you will see not just dust on the ceiling, but also scratches and soap stains. Therefore, we immediately exclude products that leave thick foam and contain abrasive substances. Be sure to prepare a clean, soft, but lint-free cloth.
1. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of alcohol in a liter of water and you can start cleaning. The only exception is fabric and satin materials.
2. To remove greasy and dirty stains, use ammonia water, in which you soak napkins or cotton swabs and wipe the dirt. Remove the remaining product with a microfiber cloth.
3. You can use dishwashing detergent when you need to tidy up your kitchen ceiling. To do this, add a little dishwashing detergent to 35-degree water (no more than a teaspoon per bucket of water), stir, and then apply the solution to the dirty areas, wiping off the residue with a soft cloth. Instead of detergent, you can use a soap solution made from laundry or baby soap.
4. Glass cleaners also work well on glossy ceilings. They leave no dirt or streaks behind, and the spray bottle makes them the easiest to use.
5. If after cleaning with soap solutions there are traces of stains left on the ceiling, you can use an aqueous solution of ammonia.
