Rust will resist vinegar, but not this mixture: how to clean a toilet from stains
A cleaning mixture that you can make at home works great even in hard to reach places.
The appearance of red streaks on the toilet indicates a leaking cistern and poor water quality.
If a rusty coating has formed on the surface of the bowl, it is time to prepare a cleaning mixture. Vinegar alone is not always enough to deal with the contamination.
Cleaning mixture
To prepare the product, take 200 ml of water and pour it into a saucepan. Add 1 tbsp. of starch. Put the saucepan on the fire and bring to a boil. A gel should form, which is then removed from the fire and left to cool.
In a separate container, take 100 ml of water and add 1 tbsp. of citric acid. The composition is supplemented with 5-10 ml of dishwashing detergent or liquid soap.
Next, combine the two liquids and mix thoroughly. Pour the product into a spray bottle and apply to problem areas. Leave for several hours and then brush off the residue with a brush.
