Any stylish and carefully cleaned room will not seem tidy until the windows are tidied up.

Usually this procedure is planned for spring, when the warm weather finally sets in. Here it is important not to forget about a couple of things, because of which the windows quickly get dirty again.

Moment one

It is necessary to wash the mosquito net after winter. It is convenient to do this in the bathtub, at the same time you can see how much dirt collects on this element. No special means are needed. You will need liquid laundry soap and a suitable rag.

Moment two

Immediately after washing the windows, especially if the weather is dry and windy, dust may settle on the glass, which will turn into cloudy streaks at the first rain. In this case, you will have to wash the windows almost every week, unless you take special measures and treat them with a protective solution.

Glass processing

The procedure is performed only after the windows are cleaned of dirt and dust. You can prepare several simple compositions from improvised means or buy ordinary glycerin at the pharmacy.

1. Take 2-3 tablespoons of chalk or tooth powder per 1 liter of water, mix them and wipe the glass with the solution. After the mixture dries, all that remains is to wipe the remaining powder off the glass with a clean and dry napkin.

2. Vinegar helps in this regard - 3 tbsp. per glass of water. The solution is applied to clean glass and then wiped dry. Lemon juice has a similar effect, of which you will need 3 tbsp. per the same amount of water.

3. Ammonia. Take 2-3 tablespoons of the product per 2 glasses of water and use it in the same way as the previous composition. You can add 1 tablespoon of vinegar.

4. But perhaps the best of all such life hacks is glycerin, which forms a thin film on the glass, protecting it from dust. It is enough to dissolve 60 ml of glycerin in 40 ml of water, a couple of drops of ammonia, apply to a clean cloth and wipe the glass thoroughly with it, wiping it dry.

It is also popularly recommended to use potatoes, onions, starch (potato or corn), and salt.
