How to fence yourself off from annoying attention from the street without buying blinds: tips for ground floor residents

Owners of apartments located on the first floor are not thrilled by curious passers-by who sometimes look right into their souls, that is, into their windows.

Unfortunately, light curtains coupled with thick curtains are not able to protect the owners of the rooms from unceremonious strangers.

The overwhelming majority believe that the only possible solution to the problem is to install blinds on the windows.

However, there is another way to protect your personal space from outside interference.

It consists of gluing tulle onto the window glass.

This way you can remain invisible to “street observers” even in the evening when the lights are on in the rooms.

First, wash the windows thoroughly, then cut sheets of suitable size from the roll of tulle.

To glue, you will need to prepare a starch solution - its consistency should resemble good quality jelly from kindergarten.

Dip the tulle in starch, then squeeze it out and apply it to the glass. All that remains is to glue the tulle, running it over it with smoothing movements. If the material has not set somewhere, apply the solution directly to the glass and smooth out the rebellious fabric.

If you need to remove the tulle, for example, to wash it, spray it with water from a spray bottle.
