What products to use for cleaning carpet
First of all, you should decide which products are suitable for cleaning your carpet: chemicals are suitable for synthetics, but for natural products this option will be destructive.
It is worth paying attention to universal products that will not spoil any carpet and will help to deal with stains on furniture. But they will not always help if the stains are old and firmly ingrained in the pile.
It is difficult to wash and dry a large carpet at home. In order not to spend money on dry cleaning, you can use products that can be found in every home and will help return the product to its original appearance without damaging it.
Ammonia
Ammonia solution is good for quick cleaning when the stains are fresh and there is not much time for cleaning: apply, rub, leave for 5-10 minutes, rinse. The solution is prepared as follows: 1 teaspoon of ammonia per 1 glass of water.
Vinegar
A more lethal solution, which is designed for complex stains: 1 tbsp. spoon per 200 ml of water. With a brush soaked in the solution, go over the carpet, paying special attention to stains. Let the coating dry. And then finish cleaning using a vacuum cleaner.
