How to Clean Hair and Pet Hair from Carpet: No Vacuum Cleaner Needed

If your apartment has carpeted floors, you are familiar with the problem of pet hair or fur getting tangled in the pile.

It is not always possible to remove such dirt even with a vacuum cleaner, let alone a broom.

However, there are a couple of effective ways that will help you cope with this task with ease.

Let's start with a method for the lazy - to avoid wasting time picking hairs out of the carpet, just stick a few strips of double-sided tape onto the soles of your slippers.

While walking, you will effortlessly collect stubborn debris from the floor, after which you can simply replace the “used” tape with new one.

Alternatively, try cleaning the rugs with a damp sponge.

In this case, you will have to crawl, but the result, believe me, is worth it.

And if cleaning on all fours doesn’t appeal to you, use a mop with a sponge attachment – they often have a wringer on the handle.
