Even with regular care, after a certain period of time the bathtub may turn yellow in some places.

It is almost impossible to remove such plaque with normal washing.

However, some tricks will help to return the plumbing to its original whiteness.

What techniques are worth trying?

Regular soda

The only danger of soda is that when actively cleaning it can damage plumbing, so you should be careful when using this method.

You will need to dilute the soda with water until it forms a paste and apply the resulting mixture to the surface. After five minutes, you can treat the surface with a sponge and wash off the cleaning compound.

Citric acid

This method is best applied locally, treating yellowed areas. The application scheme is similar to the one we use when working with soda: dilute citric acid with water and apply to yellow spots.

However, the exposure time should be increased to 15 minutes.

Afterwards we begin to wash off the cleaning agent.
