Nowadays, every home has a vacuum cleaner. It can be a regular one, a robot vacuum cleaner or a vertical one.
However, it is better not to remove some garbage with any of them.
Earth and plants
It is better not to vacuum up street sand or plant soil, as this will simply drive them deep into the carpet. And leaves from indoor plants can damage the device. In this case, it is better to use a dustpan and brush.
Glass and ceramics
If you try to remove such debris with a vacuum cleaner, you can break it. The glass can get stuck inside the hose or in the motor, and also damage the dust container. It is better to collect the debris with a broom. You can also use wide tape to collect small pieces of glass.
Ash, concrete dust, flour and sawdust
These types of contaminants contain small dust particles that can clog the filter, preventing normal suction.
Flour will definitely settle on the motor of the device. Remove such dirt with a broom.
Liquid and wet waste
Of course, there are devices specifically designed for this, but not everyone has one in their home.
Such types of contamination can simply disable filters, and a mess will form in the dust collector. Also, malfunctions in the vacuum cleaner are possible if you remove liquid with it.
Small items
Coins, paper clips or small toys block and damage the vacuum cleaner inside. Pick them up with your hands and then start cleaning.
Sticky items
Glitter, tape, glue - these are things that should not be vacuumed. They block the operation of filters and the engine. Also, such things can begin to melt inside, which will lead to malfunctions of the electrical appliance.
This type of debris is removed with a damp cloth, and PVA glue can be removed with a soap solution. Other types of glue are removed with vinegar or acetone.
Hair
They can clog the pipe and get stuck on the brush, making suction difficult and causing the appliance to catch fire.
It is better to remove any hair that gets caught in the brush immediately during cleaning.
