Many housewives, when choosing utensils for their kitchen, prefer wooden cutting boards.
However, such “helpers” require careful maintenance, otherwise they will have to be changed literally like gloves.
For these purposes, a cleaning agent has been invented and tested many times, for which you don’t need to run to the store, because the preparation can be made from what is in any kitchen.
So, to wash the cutting board after cutting meat or fish, and also to remove unpleasant odors from it, you will need to wet it with water and spread 1 tablespoon of soda over the surface.
The only thing left to do is spray 9% table vinegar onto the soda from a spray bottle. In extreme cases, you can simply pour it from a spoon.
After the reaction, which is accompanied by vigorous foam, you should rub the board with a brush and leave it like that for 10 minutes.
Rinse off any remaining cleaner with warm water and sprinkle lemon juice on the board to give it a pleasant scent.
