It is not so easy to clean old dishes from ingrained dirt and grease.
To turn a dull task into an exciting process, follow these simple washing rules.
Start washing the least dirty dishes immediately after each meal. This applies to glasses, goblets or cups. Then less dirt and grease from bowls, pans or pots will settle on them.
If it is not possible to wash the dishes immediately after eating, then soak them in a container in a solution of water and 1-2 drops of dishwashing liquid or 1 tbsp. of soda.
Keep soaked dishes separate from cutlery, which may scratch or damage fragile items.
Before washing dishes, remove any food residue by throwing it in the trash can. This way you won't have to rinse the items in greasy water and the sink drain won't get clogged.
Rags, sponges, brushes or washcloths should be changed, washed and degreased periodically.
As is known, it is in them that many microbes and bacteria accumulate, which remain on the surface of the dishes.
To keep glasses, goblets and wine glasses always shining, rub the surfaces with a linen towel after washing. Rub cutlery with a small amount of soda after washing, then rinse again and wipe dry – incredible shine is guaranteed.
Wipe cups and plates with a slice of lemon to remove dark circles, plaque and ingrained dirt – they will shine like new.
