Why Half of Housewives Can't Clean Taps with Vinegar: The Main Mistake

Since the quality of water in many homes leaves much to be desired, many housewives have to struggle with hard scale deposits on their taps.

Such contamination is particularly unpleasant for two reasons.

Firstly, they hopelessly spoil the appearance of a neat and tidy bathroom.

Secondly, getting rid of plaque is so difficult that not all household chemicals can handle it.

In this regard, it is necessary to look for options among folk methods. Thus, on the Internet you can often find recommendations for using vinegar in the process of cleaning plumbing.

However, this advice does not always work. If you find yourself in a similar situation and vinegar is useless, you may have approached cleaning incorrectly.

To ensure that the acid can remove scale, the contaminated areas should be covered with a towel. Be especially careful with the base of the tap and other hard-to-reach places.

Once everything is ready, pour vinegar on the fabric and leave the improvised “compress” on the faucet for 5-10 minutes.

After the specified time, all that remains is to rinse the previously coated areas with warm water and rub with the hard side of a sponge, if necessary.
