With regular use, any tool, including a grater, becomes dull, thus turning from an indispensable assistant into a useless accessory.

Basic sharpening will correct the situation.

If the question of how to restore sharpness to small teeth puts you in a stupor, use the effective method described below.

To do this, you will need to stock up on a whole arsenal of tools - you will need a knife (a thin screwdriver or even a small nail), foil and sandpaper.

Carefully inspect the surface of the grater to find those teeth whose angle of inclination has deviated from the required 30 degrees.

Using the tip of a knife, which can be replaced with a screwdriver or a small nail, carefully align the holes.

After that, arm yourself with fine-grain sandpaper and carefully sharpen the working surface. To do this, it is enough to make several movements on each side.

The only thing left to do is to make a few balls from culinary foil so that they are easy to hold in your hands, and grate them, again, from all sides. All that remains is to rinse the kitchen utensils with water and you can use them for their intended purpose.
