Some housewives recommend washing floors with shampoo on the Internet, rather than spending money on special products.
They claim that the hair washing gel is no less effective than the products from the household chemicals department.
But experienced cleaners do not share the optimism of bloggers. They consider such advice senseless and stupid. Experts allow only one condition when shampoo can be used to wash the floor.
We are talking about a situation when there is nothing else at hand, including liquid soap. But in this case, the composition will have to be washed off with clean water at least 2-3 times.
Otherwise, there is a high probability of leaving streaks. The floor covering will be slightly sticky, which will make it a “magnet” for dirt.
So, shampoo is not the best substitute for special floor cleaning products. Even liquid soap will do a slightly better job.
