What to do if a sandwich falls on the sofa or sauce spills: we will cope without dry cleaning
The New Year's bustle often becomes the reason for the appearance of various types of stains on upholstered furniture.
To avoid having to seek professional help or cover up the stains left on the sofa with a blanket, try to act as quickly as possible – it’s quite possible that you’ll be able to get away with “little bloodshed.”
So, if grease gets on the upholstery - for example, a chicken leg or a sausage sandwich slipped out of your hands - sprinkle salt on the stained area.
After 30 minutes, sweep away the white grains and apply soapy foam to the area.
Leave the cleaning agent on for another 10 minutes, after which you can remove it with a damp cloth.
It often happens that a bright sauce, such as tomato sauce, is spilled on the sofa.
In this case, remove the excess with a napkin and apply soapy foam to the dirty area.
After 30 minutes, wipe off any remaining cleaning solution with a dry towel. Repeat the procedure as many times as necessary to remove the stain.
