Up-to-date information has emerged regarding the coronavirus situation in Minsk.
As it turns out, there are still cases of the disease, although their numbers have decreased significantly.
This was reported by the Minsk-Novosti agency with reference to Grigory Getyuk, who is the deputy chief physician at the Minsk City Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology. The medic shared the latest data during a broadcast on Radio Minsk.
The doctor believes that at the moment the disease can safely be classified as seasonal. Most often, doctors have to deal with omicron and its derivatives.
Last month the number of cases was higher, but at the moment the figures are noticeably decreasing.
The doctor explained that in most cases, coronavirus is mild, but possible complications should always be kept in mind.
Vaccination was also recommended. It remains one of the best methods of preventing the disease.
