An original chapel has been opened in the Polish city of Poznan, where an artificial intelligence works as a priest.

This unique religious building is located in the parish of Lacina.

In this digital chapel, instead of a pastor, parishioners are communicated with by artificial intelligence, namely the Chat-GPT neural network.

This was reported by MIA "Russia Today" with reference to the TVP television channel.

According to him, parishioners have the opportunity, using a special application on their smartphone, to enter the chapel even late at night and ask the AI for spiritual advice.

We have noticed that many people want to come to our chapel to pray in the morning before work. Some people would like to do so after 9 p.m. Now this will be possible, - commented the parish priest Radosław Rakowski.

The project envisages the use of the said religious site not only as a space for prayer.

Here you can also meet, talk, even work. For this purpose, the chapel has Wi-Fi, a coffee machine and a toilet.

The chapel is known to have software used to control smart homes.

There is also an assistant working here – the same artificial intelligence in the form of the Chat-GPT neural network.

In particular, AI was used to control and manage all the functional capabilities of the chapel.

In addition, parishioners can talk to artificial intelligence on any topic, although the neural network in this case is trained to answer questions related to the parish and religion in general.
