Recently, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced the list of countries that will host the World Cup in 2030.
For the first time, the tournament will be held on three continents at once – Europe, Africa and South America will be involved.
In 2030, the year of the centenary of the World Championship, matches of the 24th planetary forum will be held for the first time in six countries at once.
According to Belta, among them will be the host country of the very first World Cup – Uruguay.
Football battles will also take place in stadiums in Argentina, Paraguay, Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
And the next, 25th championship will be held in one country. It will be hosted by Saudi Arabia in 2034.
As for the next World Cup, it is just around the corner. In 2026, it will be held in North American countries – the USA, Canada and Mexico.
It is then that for the first time in the history of such competitions, 48 teams will participate in the final part of the World Cup.
