The next round of the regular championship of the Continental Hockey League took place.
Minsk Dynamo completed its latest home series with a match against Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo.
The team from the Belarusian capital took the matter to overtime, in which they conceded and, as a result, lost the match.
It is worth noting that the confrontation started quite successfully for the hosts: the first attack of the “bison” brought them success.
At the 22nd second of the match, Alexander Volkov torpedoed the goal guarded by the Belarusian goalkeeper of Torpedo, Ivan Kulbakov.
The visitors got even just a minute before the end of the first period.
In the second period, the Minsk team scored another goal while on the power play, but after a video review, the goal was disallowed - at the moment of contact with the puck, Vitaly Pinchuk's stick was above the crossbar.
The third twenty minutes did not bring any scoring success to either side.
The game went into overtime. During the extra time, the visitors scored, thus winning the match, the final score of which was 2:1, not in favor of Dynamo.
Currently, the Zubry are in eighth place in the KHL Western Conference standings.
