In the next round of the regular championship of the Continental Hockey League, local Dynamo and Avtomobilist from Yekaterinburg fought in Minsk.
The Belarusian club lost, albeit in overtime, which became its second defeat in this home series.
The first period was played very roughly by both teams’ hockey players, who received a total of 12 penalty minutes.
By the way, both the “bison” and the “moose” managed to score once during the power play.
Initially, it was the visitors who did it (in the 2nd minute of the match), but soon Alexander Volkov equalized the score.
The second period of the game pleased the spectators and TV viewers with only one goal scored – Brady Lyle put the hosts ahead.
With about 5 minutes left in the third period, the Russian club restored the score balance and thus ensured overtime, where, having scored, they won the match.
The final scoreboard figures are 2:3. Not in favor of the “white-blues,” who have lost four of their last six matches.
Currently, the Minsk team, together with the Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo team, share 7th place in the KHL Western Conference standings – they have 33 points.
The Zubry will play their last match of the current home series on November 26 in Minsk against the leader of the Eastern Conference, Traktor from Chelyabinsk.
