The Russian national football team once again won another friendly match.

This time, Valeri Karpin's team crushed the Syrian team, scoring four unanswered goals.

Let us recall that not long ago the Russians steamrollered the Brunei team, scoring 11 goals, without letting a single one into their own net.

As for the game with the team from Syria, the meeting took place on November 19 at the stadium in the city of Volgograd.

Maxim Osipenko scored twice for the Russian national team (33rd minute and from a penalty in the 80th minute), with Ilya Samoshnikov (50th) and Alexey Miranchuk (66th) each scoring a goal.

Meanwhile, several matches were played within the Nations League on Tuesday.

Draws with the same score of 1:1 were recorded in the confrontations between Bosnia and the Netherlands and Hungary and Germany.

The Albanians lost to the Ukrainians (1:2), and the Georgians lost away to the Czechs (1:2).

The winner of this group was the Czech Republic (11 points), Ukraine took second place (8 points), Georgia and Albania were in 3rd and 4th places respectively (7 points each).
