They attacked fans of the Israeli national team right in the stands of the Stade de France during the game.
Fortunately, the stewards were able to quell the conflict and prevent mass riots.
After yesterday's matches, Italy is leading Group 2 with 13 points.
The French team also reached the quarter-finals with 10 points.
Belgium is in third place with 4 points, Israel is fourth with 1 point.
In the sixth round (the last one) on November 17, the Italians will play the French, and the Israelis will try to beat the Belgians.
Several more matches were played in the fifth round. Let us note another – fourth in a row – defeat of the Kazakhstan team.
This time, their offenders were the Austrians who came to Almaty, scoring two unanswered goals in the first half.
The game was played in Group 3 of League B. Goals were scored by Christoph Baumgartner and Michael Gregoritsch.
Later in the same group, the Slovenians played against the Norwegians. The hosts lost 1:4.
After five rounds, the quartet is headed by the Austrians and Norwegians, who have 10 points each. In third place is Slovenia with 7 points, and in last place is Kazakhstan (1).
Among the matches of the game day, we note England's away victory over Greece (3:0), and the Irish's home victory over the Finns (1:0).
The Armenian team lost to the Faroe Islands at home (0:1), and North Macedonia defeated Latvia (1:0).
Today, November 15, the Belarusian national team will play in Belfast – they will face the hosts, the Northern Ireland national team.
In their group, the latter are leading with 7 points, the Belarusians are second with 6 points.
Next come the teams of Bulgaria (5) and Luxembourg (2).
