The team from Belarus lost to the championship outsider, Kazakhstan's Barys.
The Astana club occupies the last place both in its conference and in the entire league.
Minsk Dynamo lost to this team with a score of 1:2, BELTA reports.
The game started off well for the "bison". The first period ended with a minimal victory for the club from the capital of Belarus: Chris Tierney scored.
In the second third of the match, the Barys hockey players managed to equalize the score.
It seemed that the "ones" would remain on the scoreboard until the end of regulation time. Everything was heading towards overtime.
However, half a minute before the siren signaling the end of the third period, the Kazakhstani club scored the winning goal.
Final score: 2:1 in favor of Barys.
After losing to the club from Astana, Dinamo Minsk dropped to eighth place in the Western Conference.
The next game of the Belarusian club will be held on Friday, October 25. The opponents of the "bison" will be the hockey players of the Moscow region "Vityaz".
