The hockey club "Dynamo Minsk" won a beautiful victory over Moscow CSKA in the next match of the regular KHL championship.
The game took place on Tuesday, October 15, in the Belarusian capital.
Five minutes before the end of regular time, the "bison" were down by two goals.
However, the hockey team from Belarus managed to equalize the score, and in overtime they managed to score the winning goal.
Thus, Minsk Dynamo won with a score of 5:4, BELTA reports.
The first period ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the "bison". The author of the only goal in this part of the match was Sam Enas.
In the second period, the Russian “army men” scored two goals.
At the start of the third period, Minsk Dynamo representative Sergey Kuznetsov managed to equalize the score. However, later the CSKA hockey players took the lead and strengthened their advantage.
Five minutes before the end of the third period, the "bison" were losing with a score of 2:4. There was very little time to correct the situation. However, the Belarusian hockey players coped: Vadim Shipachyov and Brady Lyle distinguished themselves.
Thus, the regular time ended in a draw - 4:4. The game was transferred to overtime, which did not last long. Just 35 seconds after its start, Minsk Dynamo scored the decisive goal. The author of the goal was Sam Enas.
The victory over CSKA allowed the "bison" to return to the playoff zone: at the moment, the team from Minsk is in 7th place in the Western Conference of the Kontinental Hockey League.
