However, shortly before the end of the first half, the Belgians equalized the score: striker Loi Openda scored.
In the 62nd minute of the match, Randal Kolo Muani scored his second goal and set the final score: 2:1 in favor of France.
Despite the victory, the French are only in second place in the standings of Group 2 of League A: 9 points in 4 matches.
The quartet is headed by the Italian team (10 points), with Belgium in third place (4 points).
Meanwhile, Israel, having lost all of their 2024/25 Nations League matches so far, are last in the group.
