It recently became known that the remains of world football legend Diego Maradona, who once visited Brest, will be placed in a mausoleum.
It was specially built in Buenos Aires at the request of the children of one of the world's greatest Argentines.
The petition of his relatives was granted by the Argentine court, reports MIA "Russia Today" with reference to the newspaper Clarín.
The court has approved the transfer of Diego Maradona's remains from the Bella Vista cemetery to a mausoleum to be built in Puerto Madero in memory of the footballer, the publication says.
Even earlier, in October last year, the intention to erect a memorial was announced. It is expected that the corresponding work will be completed next year.
It is known that the mausoleum will be located in one of the most prestigious areas of the capital of Argentina – next to the presidential palace.
Let us recall that Diego Maradona died four years ago. He was only 60 years old.
