The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called the victory of his compatriot Aryna Sabalenka at the US Open Grand Slam tennis tournament brilliant.
The Belarusian was also congratulated by her fellow countrywoman, no less famous tennis player Victoria Azarenka.
She also received congratulations from renowned Spanish and American tennis players Carlos Alcaraz and Andy Roddick, as well as from 18-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one Martina Navratilova.
