The wind, which has raged in Belarus in earnest and has already caused a lot of trouble, shows no signs of calming down.
Forecasters have warned that on Monday, November 4, it will continue to rage, reaching speeds of up to 24 meters per second in some places.
At the same time, in many regions of the republic, experts predict a strengthening of the westerly and north-westerly wind for tomorrow.
According to Belhydromet, wind speeds will range from 15 to 20 m/s during gusts, and in some places from 21 to 24 m/s.
In connection with this, an orange alert level has been declared in the country for the coming Monday.
Overall, the new week of November starts with cloudy weather with clear spells.
During the night and morning hours, rain, sleet and snow may occur in most parts of Belarus.
In addition, during this same period of the day, in some places across the country, light black ice may form, and black ice may form on the roads.
On the night of November 3-4, the air temperature in Belarus will be from -2 to +5 degrees, during the day – from +1 to +9 degrees.
In Minsk, Monday will be cloudy with clearings and no precipitation, but with a strong wind (from 15 to 20 m/s). Temperature - 3-5 degrees Celsius.
The new week will start in Brest in almost the same way, but here the wind will not be as strong (up to 11 m/s) and it will be warmer (from +7 to +9 degrees).
But residents of Vitebsk will be in for snow and sleet accompanied by a fierce wind (up to 20 m/s). Thermometers will show from +1 to +3 degrees.
Cloudy with clearings and no precipitation is possible in Gomel. But the wind will be annoying - up to 22 m/s. The air will warm up to 3-5 degrees above zero.
Approximately the same weather conditions are possible in Grodno, where, however, the wind will be weaker (up to 14 m/s), and the air temperature will be from +6 to +8 degrees.
And in Mogilev the situation is similar. But the wind speed is different - 17-22 m/s, and the air temperature is expected to be around 2-4 degrees Celsius.
