What changes await Belarusians from October 1, 2024: many will be affected

October is almost upon us. It will not come empty-handed to Belarusians – it will bring a number of innovations.
For example, according to the new rules, individual entrepreneurs, craftsmen and the self-employed will have to work.
Pensioners will receive an increase in the corresponding payments, changes will also affect the ERIP, and the OSAGO policy will be legalized.

Pension
It is expected that next month they will increase by an average of 5%.
Moreover, this applies to all types of labor pensions – old-age, length of service, disability, and loss of breadwinner.
Before this, pensions in the country were increased on February 1 by 10%.
According to the Ministry of Labor, the average pension in October will be 852 rubles. The annual increase will be 115 rubles.
ERIP
From October 1, you will need to log into your personal account of the payment system according to new rules.
Instead of consent to the processing of personal data for a period of 5 years, it will now be necessary to conclude an agreement with the company on the use of a personal account for a period of 3 years.
The contract can be concluded online by checking a special box in your personal account.
IP
From October 1, new lists of types of permitted activities will be in effect for individual entrepreneurs.
In total, the updated list included 127 types of economic activity in 16 sections of the General State Classifier of Types of Activity and 9 licensed types of activity.
In particular, individual entrepreneurs can be engaged in vehicle maintenance and repair, catering services, and real estate rental (own and rented).
It is also possible to engage in certain types of activities in construction, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, the field of information and communications, the creative sphere, sports, entertainment, etc.
Accordingly, from October 1 it will be impossible to register an individual entrepreneur for types of activities that were not included in the government list.
Those individual entrepreneurs who were not included in the list will need to re-register as a commercial organization by December 31 of next year.
Self-employed
From October 1, a new list of activities permitted for implementation as independent professional activities will be in effect.
It contains 87 items. Self-employed persons will have to pay a single tax or a tax on professional income.
Father Frost, Snow Maiden, toastmaster, dancers, musicians performing at anniversaries, weddings, and other special events were excluded from the list.
This category of citizens will need to register as individual entrepreneurs in order to continue their relevant activities.
Craftsmen
From October 1, only those who are engaged in work included in the relevant list of activities can become such.
Previously, it had about 30 positions. Only five will remain.
In addition, artisans will have to pay insurance contributions to the Social Security Fund budget.
The amount of deductions is 29% of the self-indicated amount of income, but not less than the minimum wage. That is, not less than 181 rubles 54 kopecks per month.
"Belarusbank"
The country's largest state-owned bank will charge higher fees for a number of transactions using its plastic cards from October 1.
For example, 4 rubles will be charged for changing the PIN code at Belarusbank ATMs and information kiosks.
To receive a statement of transactions, including in Internet banking, you will have to pay 60 kopecks.
The operation of viewing the account balance in ATMs or information kiosks in Belagroprombank devices will cost 60 kopecks, resident banks - 2 rubles 50 kopecks, non-resident banks - 3 rubles.
OSAGO
From October 1, 2024, the Russian motor insurance policy OSAGO will be legalized in Belarus.
