On November 22, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko holds a meeting with students in the format of “Open Microphone with the President”.

The event is taking place within the walls of the Minsk State Linguistic University, where students from the capital's universities with a humanities profile were invited.

At a meeting with young people, the President discussed the role of the media and spoke about the task of journalists in the context of an information war.

The topic of internet shutdown was also raised.

Let us recall that after the presidential elections and during the events of August 2020, this measure was implemented.

At that moment, the fate of Belarus was being decided, the head of state recalled.
