Belarusian schoolchildren's holidays are over. On Monday, November 4, the kids will go back to school.

In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic contacted drivers and parents of children through its official Telegram channel.

The agency recommends that drivers “be more careful near educational institutions and public transport stops.”

And before pedestrian crossings, law enforcement officers remind, you need to reduce your speed in advance.

You should also move around courtyard areas with special caution, not forgetting that at any moment a child may appear from behind a parked car.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs advises drivers to try to “anticipate possible mistakes made by young road users.”

It is noted that often the driver’s attentiveness and competent actions help to avoid an accident or minimize the consequences of an accident.

And parents are advised to explain to their children how to behave correctly on the road from a safety point of view.

Remind people daily about the importance of traffic rules and, if possible, monitor their observance, the message says.
