There is a difficult fire hazard situation in the forests of our country.
The relevant information was published on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus on the morning of September 22.
According to the department, six fires were extinguished in the forest fund of the Ministry of Forestry in 24 hours.
We are talking about situations that occurred near Mogilev, Grodno, Pinsk, Gantsevichi and Chechersk.
In all cases, the fire was extinguished at an early stage.
The ministry also emphasized that several hundred forest fires have been extinguished since 2024. The total number of such fires was 386.
The Ministry of Forestry has called on Belarusians to exercise maximum caution when visiting forest areas.
The department reminded about the importance of observing fire safety rules.
In addition, citizens who plan to go to the forest must make sure that it is not prohibited. It is also necessary to find out in advance whether there are restrictions on visiting forests in a particular area.
