Since November 1, the size of the subsistence minimum budget has increased in Belarus.
The press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reported this on Telegram.
The average subsistence minimum per capita from today is 437.8 rubles (1.1% higher than its value in effect from August 1).
The minimum subsistence level for the working-age population increased to 468.58 rubles, for children under 3 years old – to 274.09 rubles, for children aged 3 to 6 years – to 365.59 rubles, for children aged 6 to 18 years – to 436.16 rubles, for pensioners – to 319.93 rubles.
These sizes of BMP will be in effect until January 31 of next year.
This is the fourth recalculation of the BPM this year. Since the beginning of the year, the growth has amounted to 19%.
Changing the minimum subsistence level entails a revision of social payments calculated based on its amount and supplements and increases built into the social security system.
Thus, from today, social pensions, pension supplements, state benefits for families raising children, benefits for caring for a person over 80 years of age or a disabled person of the first group have increased.
In particular, age-related pension supplements for persons aged 75 to 79 years increased to 82.09 rubles.
Additional payments for persons aged 80 years and over (taking into account the care allowance) increased to 164.18 rubles, and for those with a first-group disability – to 218.9 rubles.
According to the Ministry of Labor, more than 537,000 people receive such additional payments.
