The Belarusian government has increased spending on environmental protection and culture
In Belarus, already this year, expenditures on environmental protection, as well as on the cultural sector, will be increased.
The corresponding decision is stipulated in the decree of the government of the republic “On financing the expenses of the republican budget”.
Document number 826 dated November 11, 2024 was officially published on the country's legal Internet portal.
According to the resolution, this year the Ministry of Finance will increase the expenditures of the republican budget on environmental protection and the cultural sphere.
It is specified: more than 2.88 million rubles are supposed to be allocated for salaries (including social security contributions) for employees of forestry organizations.
Part of the same amount of money will go towards modernization and construction in the industry.
Another 700,000 rubles are planned to be spent on modernization and major repairs of cultural and art facilities.
Please note: the increase in expenditure on the specified items is achieved by reducing expenditures of the republican budget in other sectors.
The Council of Ministers’ resolution entered into force immediately after its official publication.
