Tariffs for doctors' appointments and consultations have been set in Belarus

The Ministry of Health of Belarus has set maximum tariff limits for paid appointments and consultations with doctors.

The relevant decision of the department is enshrined in its resolution number 156 dated November 16 of this year.

The document was published on the legal portal of the republic and comes into force on February 1, 2025.

The resolution fixed maximum rates for appointments and consultations with medical specialists, including department staff. The exception is dentists.

Reception

The maximum price depends on the qualifications and rank of the doctor – for an initial appointment it ranges from 35 to 57 rubles.

The price for a repeat visit is from 21 to 32 rubles.

For a specialist doctor of the second qualification category, the initial appointment costs 35 rubles, and a follow-up appointment costs 21 rubles.

A visit to a first-category doctor will cost the patient 37 rubles (initial) and 23 rubles (repeat).

The tariff for this service from top-category doctors is 41 and 25 rubles, respectively.

If the appointment is carried out by a candidate of medical sciences, then the first time you will need to pay 45 rubles, the second time - 27 rubles.

If we are talking about a doctor of science or associate professor, candidate of science, then the prices are 47 and 28 rubles.

An appointment with a professor or doctor of medical sciences will cost 52 and 29 rubles starting in February.

Medical specialist, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Medical Sciences – 56 and 31 rubles.

And if an academician is the host, the cost will be 57 and 32 rubles.

Consultations

As for consultations, the rates here also depend on the qualifications and titles of the specialist doctor, the maximum being from 42 to 85 rubles.

In particular, a consultation with a specialist doctor of the second qualification category costs 42 rubles, the first – 44 rubles, the highest – 49 rubles.

A candidate of science receives 65 rubles, a doctor of science receives 70 rubles, an associate professor, candidate of science receives 70 rubles, and a professor, doctor of science receives 80 rubles.

A consultation with a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Science, will cost 82 rubles; a consultation with an Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Science, will cost 85 rubles.
