From November 19 to 22, command and staff exercises will be held in the country under the leadership of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus Ivan Kubrakov.
They will involve entities of the state response system.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs warned its compatriots about this in its official Telegram channel.
According to the information released, “the events include theoretical and practical parts.”
Training will be held in Minsk, regional and district centers.
During the exercises, law enforcement officers will demonstrate their readiness to promptly respond to possible complications in the situation during the election campaign.
The purpose of the event, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is to practice actions to:
– preventing manifestations of extremism and terrorism;
– preventing the involvement of Belarusians in illegal activities;
- preventing violations of public order.
Please note: during the specified period, movement of special equipment with street closures is possible, as well as the use of pyrotechnics.
