A whole series of pre-New Year meteorological “gifts” from the heavenly office are likely this Tuesday, December 24, in Belarus.

At least, this is the abundance of weather that local forecasters expect.

In particular, according to the Belhydromet forecast , today residents of the country should be prepared for snow with sleet, fog and slippery roads.

What besides precipitation

Both pedestrian paths and highways will be slippery.

Therefore, pedestrians and drivers are advised to be extremely vigilant, attentive and careful.

Well, in general, the 24th of December in the republic will be cloudy. In some regions - snow and sleet.

As already noted, the fog will also clear, plus there will be black ice and icy conditions.

But the wind won't bother you - it's weak and unstable.

As for the air temperature, it is predicted that during the day across the country it will be from -3 to +3 degrees.

Cities

Minsk expects today all of the above. Snow with wet snow, fog, ice and black ice - there will be.

This Tuesday, the capital's thermometers will show temperatures ranging from a degree below zero to a degree above zero.

In Brest, icy conditions with black ice are also possible, but precipitation is unlikely. And the temperature will be from 0 to +2 degrees.

The city of Vitebsk is expected to have weather that is practically identical to Minsk. Except for the air temperature – in the northern capital it will be from 0 to -2 degrees.

Residents of Gomel will be greeted by fog, ice and sleet today. There will be no precipitation. Temperature – from -1 to +1 degrees.

Cloudiness, no precipitation, fog, ice and 1-3 degrees above zero – these are the weather conditions in Grodno.

Mogilev will see fog, ice and icy conditions on December 24. No precipitation is expected. Thermometers will record temperatures from 0 to -2 degrees.
