Belarusian gourmets have received some not very pleasant news.

The country is now banning the sale of two types of popular chocolate eggs from Russia.

In particular, a taboo has been imposed on the Zazu chocolate egg with a glowing toy.

This product is a two-layer paste based on milk and cocoa with strawberry flavor.

According to the press service of the State Standard, which made the decision to ban the product, the egg was manufactured in the city of Vladivostok by the company Goodwin.

The reason for the ban is said to be the fact that the product labeling contains false information about the product.

Moreover, this information does not allow the product to be identified by name, since there is no chocolate component in the total mass of the product.

In addition, experts have established that this egg contains vegetable oils, which is not allowed in this type of product.

For the same reason, a ban was introduced on the sale of the chocolate product “Kittens, Go Ahead” with a toy in Belarus.

This is a two-layer paste based on milk and cocoa from the same company from the same Russian city.

Gosstandart draws attention to the fact that the aforementioned chocolate eggs are prohibited from being imported and sold on the territory of Belarus from December 27 of the outgoing year.

It should be noted that earlier in Belarus the sale of popular squash caviar was banned, as nitrates were found in the product.
