The Minsk State Traffic Inspectorate reminds all Belarusian drivers of the need to comply with traffic regulations regarding pedestrian crossings.
You need to be especially careful when stopping or parking near them. If you do this, violating the minimum distance to the "zebra", you can get a fine.
As reported by the press service of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee in its official telegram channel, traffic regulations prohibit stopping and parking at pedestrian crossings.
The same is prohibited to do closer than 15 meters from such crossings on the road in both directions.
In case of violation of these rules, drivers of passenger cars may be subject to administrative liability - a fine of 40 rubles.
If such a violation is committed by a truck driver, his administrative liability will result in a fine of up to 200 rubles.
