Forecasters warn Belarusians about an unfavorable hydrometeorological phenomenon.
On the night of Saturday, November 23, heavy snow is forecast in the east of the Mogilev and Gomel regions; an orange danger level has been declared.
The corresponding warning was posted on the Belhydromet Telegram channel.
On Saturday, the weather will be determined by a humid, cool air mass, and in the eastern regions by an atmospheric front.
It will be partly cloudy. In some areas, precipitation in the form of snow and sleet is forecast.
Heavy snow is expected in the east of the Gomel and Mogilev regions at night, Belhydromet warns.
In some places, light ice and wet snow accumulation are expected at night and in the morning. There will be black ice on some sections of roads.
The wind will be variable at night, moderate westerly and southwesterly during the day, gusty in places.
At night it will be from -7 degrees in the northwest to +1 degree in the southeast, during the day – from -3 to +2 degrees.
