Officials will respond promptly to criticism in the media

On December 3, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed decree No. 452.

This regulatory legal act updates the current Decree "On the response of officials to critical speeches in state media". The need is dictated by the trends in the development of the information sphere.

Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 452, which updates Decree No. 630 "On the response of officials to critical speeches in state media," the press service of the head of state reports.

The need is determined by the peculiarities of the modern development of the information sphere.

The purpose of adopting the document is to objectively reflect socially significant information in the media and on Internet resources.

The document provides an opportunity to identify and promptly resolve the problems contained therein.

The regulatory legal act is aimed at developing feedback from the population, as well as the widespread use of the potential of state media in the preparation of critical analytical materials.

The decree provides for relevant norms, which allows “to strengthen the interaction of government agencies, the media and the expert community in informing the population, including about problematic issues and ways to solve them,” the report says.
