The beginning of next week in Belarus will be marked by a red alert level.
Forecasters announced that it will be in effect from September 23 to 25.
Officially, this sounds like a storm warning about a dangerous hydrometeorological phenomenon.
During the specified period – from Monday to Wednesday – in many areas of the Vitebsk, Gomel and Mogilev regions, extreme fire danger is expected (5th class of fire hazard).
And on the coming night, September 23, frosts are predicted in certain locations in the Vitebsk and Mogilev regions (from 0 to -2 degrees).
As for the weather on Monday, Belhydromet reports that on the first day of the new September week, Belarusians can expect variable cloudiness.
There will be no precipitation, but there will be fog at night and in the morning. The wind tomorrow will blow from the southeast, moderate is forecast.
Temperatures across the country this night will range from -2 to +11 degrees, and during the day from +20 to +26 degrees.
In Minsk and Mogilev, September 23 is a day with variable cloudiness, no precipitation and air temperatures from +21 to +23 degrees.
Approximately the same weather will set in in Brest, but it will be a little warmer here – from +23 to +25 degrees.
And the city of Vitebsk will also be under the influence of approximately the same weather conditions, with the exception of the temperature - 20-22 degrees above zero.
Residents of Gomel and Grodno will experience similar weather conditions. In addition to temperatures – from +22 to +24 degrees.
