MIA " Russia Today " reports on a mass drone attack in Kazan, citing the press service of the head of Tatarstan.
Eight strikes were reported, one of which hit an industrial facility and six more hit a residential area.
It is also specified that the attempt to attack an industrial facility in Tatarstan was unsuccessful.
It is known that after the attack, fires broke out in several residential buildings located in the Sovetsky, Kirovsky and Privolzhsky districts.
However, there were no casualties or injuries.
Emergency services are working on site, and the population is provided with all necessary assistance.
Selective evacuation is being carried out in schools and industrial enterprises.
In an appeal to city residents, authorities ask that when sirens sound, people go down to basements and shelters.
Restrictions have been introduced at the airports of Kazan, Izhevsk and Saratov.
It is also reported that the Kazan authorities have cancelled all mass events for two days in order to ensure safety.
