Alexander Lukashenko addressed Belarusian farmers and congratulated them on the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers of the AIC.
The text of the message draws attention to the fact that today agriculture “is among the most effective in the Belarusian economy.”
The President also reports that in 2024, farmers “harvested a good harvest”: over 10 million tons of grain (including corn and rapeseed), about 5 million tons of sugar beets.
According to him, agricultural workers not only provide Belarusians with “high-quality and tasty products,” but also increase exports.
Lukashenko is convinced that due to the hard work and perseverance of farmers, the tasks facing the national agro-industrial complex will be worthily accomplished, the President’s press service reports .
The Belarusian leader thanked the industry veterans and all villagers for their professionalism and responsibility, and their desire to preserve and enhance the best traditions of the domestic agro-industrial complex.
The head of state wished every representative of the country's agriculture health, prosperity and consistently high yields.
