Lukashenko spoke about the status of BSPU in the education system of Belarus
Alexander Lukashenko addressed the staff and students of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.
The occasion was the 110th anniversary of the university's founding.
The President congratulated the addressees of the message on such an important event for the educational institution and spoke about its status in the national education system.
In the domestic education system, BSPU has consistently maintained its status as a leading university for training highly qualified teaching staff, the head of state’s press service quotes him as saying.
According to him, this university “ensures the increase of the intellectual potential of society”, laying the foundation for the successful development of the country in the economy, culture, science, and social sphere.
The message also notes the fact that BSPU trains real professionals, “capable of leading, teaching them to love their Fatherland.”
Lukashenko is convinced that the university staff will continue to be an example in the education and upbringing of young people.
I am also confident that the contribution of BSPU “to the improvement of the educational sphere will become a guarantee of sustainable development and strengthening of the state.”
The President wished the university staff and students health, happiness, and success in their studies and work.
