However, the frosts will not last long – already on Sunday the thermometers will rise again.

As Belhydromet reported, the air temperature in the first ten days of December exceeded the climatic norm by 1.9 degrees and averaged +0.2 degrees across the country. The positive anomaly was observed throughout the country.
Today, a cold atmospheric front will pass through the territory of Belarus, followed by arctic air masses.
This means that Belarusians can expect the first cold snap of December, forecasters said.
During the night hours of Friday and Saturday, the temperature will vary from 4 to 11 degrees below zero, and during the day – from 0 to -6 degrees.
However, already on Sunday, a system of atmospheric fronts will bring warm Atlantic air and precipitation in the form of snow, sleet and rain.
On Friday, December 13, short-term snow with a light blizzard is expected at night and in the morning, mainly in the south-eastern half of the country.
No significant precipitation is forecast for the day. Ice is expected in some places, and strong winds of 15-20 meters per second are expected at night and in the morning in the eastern half of the country.
Nighttime temperatures will be -4-10 degrees below zero, daytime temperatures -1-6 degrees below zero.
On Saturday it will be mostly dry, only in the north-eastern regions short-term snow is possible. In some places black ice is expected.
Nighttime temperatures will be 5-11 degrees below zero, and during the day they will be from 0 to -6 degrees.
On Sunday, precipitation in the form of snow and sleet is expected across the country. In some places, black ice is possible, and in the western regions, light black ice during the day.
In some areas, strong winds of 15-20 meters per second are predicted.
Nighttime temperatures will be 1-8 degrees below zero, and during the daytime temperatures will range from 3 degrees below zero to 2 degrees above zero.

At night there will be from 6 degrees below zero to 1 degree above zero, during the day – from 1 degree below zero to 6 degrees above zero.
On Tuesday, precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is expected across the country.

At night it will be from -4 degrees in the eastern regions to +4 in the southwestern regions, during the day – from 0 to +7 degrees.
On Wednesday night, short-term precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is expected throughout the country, and in some areas during the day.

At night the temperature will be from -4 degrees below zero to +3 degrees above zero, and during the day - from -2 degrees below zero to +5 degrees above zero.
