Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko made an important statement regarding roaming for compatriots and Russians in the territories of the two countries.
In particular, he promised that from March 1 of next year, tariffs for calls, as well as for the Internet within roaming on the territory of the Union State, will become comfortable.
According to him, a draft resolution of the Supreme State Council of the Union State will be prepared.
It is this document that defines reduced tariffs from March 1, 2025.
According to the head of government, they will be comparable to those used in a home network, with at least 300 minutes of free incoming voice calls and at least 5 gigabytes of data transfer per month.
Both technically and economically, this is not such a simple solution, but this was the order of the heads of state, and it was carried out, the Belta agency quotes Golovchenko as saying.
In turn, his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin recalled that Minsk and Moscow had previously provided free incoming calls in roaming on the territory of the Union State.
From March 1 of next year, subscribers of Russian and Belarusian operators must be provided with comfortable rates for telephone calls and for the transmission of Internet data, he said.
