The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus adopted in the second reading a draft law on amendments to the Tax Code.
Natalia Kuleshova, a member of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on Budget and Finance, spoke about the innovations of the bill.

The lower house of parliament adopted this bill in the first reading on October 31.
The document contains systemic measures aimed at improving tax legislation taking into account the practice of its application, optimizing the level of tax burden and simplifying the procedure for calculating and paying specific taxes.
According to Kuleshova, the changes affect almost all taxes and special tax regimes.
When finalizing the bill for the second reading, the wishes and suggestions of businesses were taken into account.
They are reflected in the benefits for calculating VAT and adjusting revenue criteria under the simplified taxation system.
The 25 percent income tax rate will remain in effect for mobile operators and organizations/microorganizations engaged in microloans.
In addition, the Tax Code has been supplemented with a separate article concerning the taxation of transactions with tokens. If the transaction is carried out through residents of the HTP, income tax does not need to be paid.
