The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus adopted in the second reading a draft law on amendments to laws on issues of state registration of real estate, rights to it and transactions with it.
The document provides for the extension of the “land amnesty” until January 1, 2028.
This was reported by BELTA with reference to the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on Agrarian Policy Ivan Markevich.
As the deputy explained, a huge amount of work was done in preparing the document; three laws were effectively combined into one.
The “land amnesty” that people are waiting for today will be extended until January 1, 2028, Markevich said.
According to him, the decision to extend the “land amnesty” was made due to the overload of land management services: they are unable to process the flow of documents and applications.
28-30% of citizens have already managed to put all their land documents in order, the head of the Permanent Commission specified.
The interaction between the registrar and the notary is also taken into account. Extraterritoriality of state registration is introduced (it will be possible to apply for state registration to any agency regardless of the location of the property without additional payment).
All actions that will be carried out within the framework of the new law will be aimed at protecting the property of our citizens, the parliamentarian summed up.
